Here is a vintage muddler / jigger spoon combination marked ” Napier Sterling “. It is just slightly over 9 inches long and weighs 60.7 grams.
What is interesting, to me at least, is that it is etched with what looks like a handwritten ” w1092 ” on the back of the bowl next to the rat tail handle. What this means, I do not know.
I have seen ads for jigger spoons as early as 1924. They were not muddlers. I’m estimating this one is from the 1930s. I have seen only two other examples of a Napier sterling muddler jigger spoon.
