Here are two antique julep strainers, one a smaller scallop shape and the other larger.
The larger strainer is marked “National Silver Co.” It measures approximately 6 and 5/8 inches long and the bowl about 3 inches wide. It has a round cutout in the handle and a ribbed design. It has seen much wear over the last century plus. There are scratches and dark spots and overall wear. I think the photos speak for themselves.
The other strainer is marked “C. Rogers & Bros. A1”. It measures 5 and 1/2 inches long by just over 2 and 3/4 inches wide. It has a large star cutout in the handle. It has some scratch marks and dark spots. There is no plate loss.
Both strainers have nice weight to them.
